Poem: Dry Tears
You know that burning sensation you feel at the back of your throat at times when you are sad, happy or even when you've nothing to cry about, but you still can't cry.
Poem: A Day’s Heart
There I was lying under the shade of the stars
On the road were the moving cars
It was a no moon day
Darkness had spread all over the way
While I was gazing at the stars I saw something
It was different but I felt amazing
Poem: Life Lessons
Life lessons
What have I really learned We must practice Empathy
Appreciation
And compassion
That’s what life taught me But I knew that already
Poem: asking for it
girls aren’t afraid of the dark,
they’re afraid of who’s in the dark.
they’re afraid of the strange space between themselves
and whatever is waiting for them, in shadows.
