Poem: My First Kiss

INTRODUCTION

This is one of my best poems of my quarantine series. Being a teenager, they've always wondered about such things and when it comes to me, one night while playing a game of confessions with my friends, they told me about their first kisses and that was the moment when the lines hit my mind and with a little effort, my imagination and my soul, I came up with this poem. Hope you like it!

Light as a feather

Like a pure bliss

I wanna feel it

feel my first kiss.

Like a sweet drop of honey

Or a dew drop in sunny

Time stopping around

Like a sweet humming sound

Our hearts pounding

A warm atmosphere in the surrounding

Our eyes closed

and Adrenaline overdosed

A soft feeling on my lips

Telling me this is the kiss

The one I've been waiting for so long

The feeling of love getting strong

And then he looks into my eyes

Piercing my heart a thousand times

And then a smile crawls to his lips

Reminding me that I'm 'HIS'.

I'm a high schooler and I love to write. And this is for the first time my works are getting platforms. I write when I'm happy, sad, moody, angry, depressed or rather in every aspect of my life, because writing is the only way I heal from the damages caused to me by the stereotypes and unrealistic goals set by our society. Because I'm unique, and so you are.
