It means working, and making money can be pretty tough. Of course, everyone is in a different situation and has different support networks. However, you are resilient. It’s in your nature. You’ve had children, that tells you all you need to know. There are things you can do, if you have the time, to make things more comfortable for yourself. What you choose depends on your inclination but here are some ideas to help get you started on the road to financial security for you and your children.

If you have a small amount, you can turn this into something more significant simply by investing it well in the stock market. Of course, this is incredibly hard and risky and you need to study before you part with cash. If you’ve a natural inclination towards maths and figures, it might just come a little easier. Of course, you can Trade Forex or cryptocurrency if you wanted to look at other areas of day trading. It’s all about the risk to reward, and whether or not you have the time to really invest in learning the ropes. Most accounts offer demo trading too for you to get a feel of what’s going on, or if you know someone who’s good with their finances, there’s no shame in ask for their help!

Have you got a creative streak? Then market it. Sell your creations online. You can sell items on sites like Etsy. If you can create something unique and great then people will buy it. You can take it further and market your product on Amazon too. Basically, if you’re great at something you can pass it on. It might be that you can bake great cakes. People will buy them. Can you write? Maybe people can buy your articles to use on their websites. There are so many little things you can do to pull in extra money. Maybe you can speak another language and want to tutor people, or even work in translation. Leverage your skills and try to market your creativity, because you can be sure that there’s certainly a market for it there. You can use sites like Upwork or Fiverr to market yourself to a wider audience.

Never be afraid to ask for help

Everyone needs help once in a while. It doesn’t even mean financial help, it might be someone to look after the kids for a little so that you can get stuck in to some extra work and make some cash. Just don’t be afraid to ask. It might be someone who owes you a favour. Perhaps someone can help you with an in to a money making opportunity. Even if it’s someone you might not know entirely. In general, most people like to help others. Whether it’s in person or online, opportunities for further financial gain can come from asking someone for help.
