Our friends Sooty and Sweep

As funny as it stands.

These puppets on my hands.

Called Sooty and Sweep.

You'll laugh so hard that you'll weep.

Oh, I hope that comedy never goes!

As by its humour it shuns our woes.

Lightens up a dreary day.

In a funny kind of way.

But don't forget about our puppet friends.

It's by their discomfort, our laughter lends.

Thinking of where we put our hands.

Ha, you get it, you understand.
