Heads in the sand

Thoughts all lost and carried away

The people lost in their day to day

Aspirations are fine but centers on thee

The plight of others you do not see

Words get lost in the recess of minds

The lies take over one surely finds

Like a flamingo with its head in the sand

Our nation of people so sadly stand.
