Exhale Coffee Review: A Health-Boosting Brew for Active Lifestyles

Exhale Coffee promises to provide your morning caffeine kick with added health benefits to give you a zing in your step as you start your day. The brand's founder, Alex Higham, is an ultra-distance runner and outdoor enthusiast, so Exhale Coffee is perfect for people with active lifestyles who need an extra health boost. After his health journey, Alex was inspired to create ‘Ridiculously Healthy Coffee’, as their strapline states, that does more for people’s health and the environment. You can read more about the backstory of Exhale Coffee here.

Three different blends are on offer: Organic House Roast, an Organic Dark(ish) Roast and an Organic Decaf option. The coffee arrived in compostable packaging; you can choose between beans or ground coffee, and there is also an option for a letterbox subscription.

I tried the Organic dark (ish) roast, and as soon as I opened the pouch, the strong aroma told me I was in for a treat. I brewed my coffee using an espresso machine, and the coffee was a rich, dark colour and tasted strong without being overpowering. Exhale says they have perfected the roasting process when making their coffee so that “more of coffee’s natural plant compounds are locked in antioxidants, polyphenols, and vitamins." Exhale Coffee has made it their priority to make their coffee as healthy as it can be; one cup is equal to 12 punnets of blueberries/55 oranges. It is also anti-inflammatory and free from toxins and pesticides. Read more about the health benefits of Exhale Coffee here.

After starting a day with a cup of Exhale Coffee, I feel like it's given me a much-needed mental and physical boost. I also noticed that I didn’t get that afternoon slump that usually happens with other brands. If you feel like starting your day with a cup of goodness, give Exhale Coffee a try.

Pouches start at £9.00.

A subscription is also available. www.exhalecoffee.com
