Since lockdown I find myself having a lot more time on my hands for my passions; one of those passions is art, specifically acrylic painting on stretched canvas. It provides a depth of colour and the ability to easily clean materials after use because of its water based properties.

Faustine Aper-Nitche is a 24 year old freelance graphic designer and illustrator, from Pais, France. She has such a vibrant, particular style when it comes to her illustrations (that blue, though), that we couldn’t not add her as an illustrator spotlight.

Camilla’s simple yet touching NHS series, created whilst in lockdown, shows the evolved ways we can ‘shake’, greet and touch each other in this COVID19 world. Camilla also does beautiful and seriously detailed animal drawings that look so realistic they could be a photo.
