First Impressions

I requested a trial of ProVen Biotics’ ShapeLine product to try. The website suggests that ShapeLine has been shown to support a ‘shapelier you’ when taken regularly over a six-month period. I received one month’s supply so I’m not sure if I’ll see any difference in such a short time.

Instructions

To use this product as a food supplement, take one capsule per day with food. This can aid in absorption and ensure optimal benefits.

To maintain its quality and effectiveness, store the product in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and excessive heat. The capsules do not need to be refrigerated, making them convenient for home or travel use. 

Review

I’m used to taking tablets - I take a number of them each day to keep myself alive and well. These were on the larger side and, therefore, may not be suitable for people who struggle to swallow tablets. Unlike other supplement capsules I’ve taken, they don’t have an unpleasant aftertaste. They’re in a vegetarian capsule shell that isn’t chalky and so doesn’t make it difficult to take.

I also noticed on their website that the instructions for some products (like the 25 Billion for Adults) indicated that the capsules could be opened and contents sprinkled onto cold food for those who cannot swallow them whole. However, it didn’t mention this on the ShapeLine page so I just took them normally. 

It was easy to incorporate this into my daily routine, taking them with breakfast every morning. I haven’t noticed much difference in my weight, but it is coming up to Christmas, and I have been indulging in festive treats.
