Support shows followed with Brix & The Extricated, Kristeen Young (who’s notably known for her work with David Bowie and Dave Grohl) and the acclaimed punk poet Dr. John Cooper Clarke

‘Dear Sweet Rosie’ was followed with ‘Arms Open Wide’ gaining further support on 6Music, and also Radio1

Seeing her live, Freya holds her own on vocals and electric guitar, accompanied by a drummer, making a huge and mesmerising sound that leaves the audience captivated

During the spring/summer lockdown, whilst continuing writing, Freya also recorded two covers in her own unique style, John Lennon’s ‘Nobody Told Me’ and Lana Del Rey’s ‘Happiness is a Butterfly’

Freya is currently recording her debut album in London and Manchester, scheduled for release in January 2021. Further singles will follow in the interim

Tara Cookery

Tara Cookery (taracookery.com) has been running for just over two years. Founded by Tara Guinness, Tara Cookery offers private cooking classes to groups and one on one. Tara started her career  completing the full year diploma at Leith's School of Food and Wine in London. With traditional French culinary training under her belt she moved to India where she worked in remote hotel kitchens, teaching Western cooking and catering management.  It was often a challenge being the only English speaker in a small, bustling, baking hot kitchen, especially when the nearest market was a day away by train. This is where her love of teaching was born. Once back in the UK she worked as a freelance chef for various catering companies and pop-up restaurants including Peardrop London and Kricket.  She then worked at Carousel, a restaurant in West London. She learnt how to cook a different cuisine each week there, working with visiting chefs from all over the world. After two years she started Tara Cookery, teaching people how to cook! Private lessons are completely tailored to clients requirements. It doesn't matter whether you are a complete beginner who wants to learn the basics, or an experienced chef who is perhaps ready to explore a culinary career. Tara Cookery lessons are designed specifically for your needs.

A few other projects she is part of are The Feconomy (thefeconomy.co.uk), an events company that only uses ingredients and produce from female fuelled food and drink brands and The Amber Room supper clubs. She co-founded and is the head chef for both.
