What More’s In Store

Though our days are numbered.

And they ever seem so short.

As conflict rages on around us.

And evil gets that bit more.

We wonder what more's in store

Though our hearts be so weary.

And our tears they do run free.

By all the suffering we see.

And the deaths they just keep coming.

We wonder what more's in store.

Though our minds are ever inquiring.

And are searching for the truth.

We get miffed by the injustice.

That gets in life's merry way.

And really start wonder, what more can be in store?
