A lesson in time

If time is a pendulum,

a metronome;

swinging away seconds in just a blink.

Simultaneously drawn out, lethargic,

and painfully debilitating.

Then timing must be

the exact moment the sun caresses the horizon,

and for one fleeting instant,

the sky and sea bask together as friends

in a hypnotic green light.
