First Impressions

What I Received

Frankie was kind enough to send me a mixed batch of brownies with some of each of my business logos and the magazine logo on. She also included some of her indulgent salted caramel pretzel brownies, a delightful and rich flavour combination that adds a perfect balance of sweet and salty.

Instructions

Frankie's Brownies and Brownie Pies stay fresh for up to 7 days at ambient (room) temperature. These treats can also be stored in the fridge, where they will remain fresh for up to 10 days. 

All of Frankie's products, including Brownies, Brownie Pies, and Chocolate Pots, can be frozen for up to 3 months. To ensure optimal quality, it's recommended to make a note of the date they are frozen, allowing customers to savour them at their best whenever they choose.

Review

I love brownies, so when the opportunity to try Frankie’s came up, I was all in without hesitation! However, in my endless quest for the perfect treat, I've encountered plenty of disappointing brownies that failed to live up to expectations. Naturally, I was both excited and a little cautious, hoping these would be everything I dreamed of.

My Thoughts

I spoke with Frankie via email, and when it came to getting my logo on the brownies, all she needed was a high-quality digital copy. I quickly sent it over, and just like magic, the custom-branded brownies arrived, perfectly showcasing my logo. The entire process was seamless and efficient. 

I must confess, I ate a lot of the brownies in a much shorter time than I’d like to admit! However, I did manage to show some restraint – a few of the brownies even made it to the freezer! It took a bit of willpower, but now I have the perfect excuse to enjoy them all over again later.

Now, for the taste - they were delightful. The edges had just the right amount of crunch, while the centre remained perfectly soft and fudgy. It was that ideal balance of textures that made a brownie truly satisfying.

I managed to savour the remaining brownies over the course of a few days, and they stayed just as delicious as when they first arrived. Each bite retained that perfect balance of soft and crunchy, making it easy to stretch out the enjoyment without sacrificing any of the flavour or texture.

Having said that, even though they’re advertised as corporate brownies, there’s nothing to stop you from going rogue. I even saw someone on Instagram who ordered brownies with pictures of them and their mum on them for a lovely birthday surprise.

Final Reflections/Thoughts

I loved the brownies from Frankie’s. The balance of crunchy edges and soft, fudgy centres was spot on, and they stayed fresh and delicious over several days. I was especially impressed with the personalised touch of having both my business and magazine logos on the brownies, and the salted caramel pretzel flavour was a real standout. Overall, they exceeded my expectations, especially since I’ve come across a lot of disappointing brownies in the past. They were so irresistible, that I ended up enjoying them more than I’d originally planned!
