Sziget Adds 50 New Artists to the 2025 Line-up
Sziget has announced a fresh wave of artists for its upcoming 2025 edition, which includes Little Simz, FKA Twigs and The Last Dinner Party.
The festival is held on Obuda Island, nicknamed ‘The Island of Freedom’ in Budapest, Hungary from 6 to 11 August. This summer, Sziget offers an exciting and eclectic programme featuring spaces for music, theatre, cabaret and art.
This year’s festival headliners are Charli XCX, Chappell Roan, A$AP Rocky, Anyma, Post Malone and Shawn Mendes.
Chappell Roan has been the biggest breakthrough pop artist this year, from her debut album The Rise and Fall of the Midwest Princess, to her success at the 2025 Grammys winning Best New Artist, and her recent release of queer country anthem ‘The Giver’. Charli XCX has also had a brilliant year following her BRAT tour, and her album of the same name that became a cultural moment of this year.
In addition to this diverse line-up, Sziget has also announced a new nightlife area, the Delta District. This area will feature three stages, and some of the artists on the line-up include Amelia Lens, Steve Angello, Don Diablo, and many more artists that are guaranteed to produce high-energy sets. The Delta District will create an intimate club setting for electronic culture to thrive. The Yettel Colosseum is back again this year, providing an open-air amphitheatre space for house and techno. The BOLT Night Stage is also set to deliver jaw-dropping visuals and a cutting-edge sound system.
FKA Twigs is a highly anticipated act on the line-up, and she is making her debut in Sziget after the pandemic delayed her original performance. Her latest release of her genre-defying album Eusexua, has been critically praised. London-born rapper Little Simz will also be performing, and she is set to release new music in May.
The Last Dinner Party, an all-female band from East London, burst onto the music scene with Prelude To Ecstasy, their Mercury Prize-nominated album. Their vibrant stage presence and dynamic sound make them a must-see at festivals.
