Poem: If life would have been a person
If life would have been a person
I must would have allayed my eagerness
and asked
How can you hold so many surprises?
Some merry and mild, some heavily basked
Some creepy and wild, some barely masked
I would like to bring it home
and offer delicacies of time
I would like to offer some warmth
and a lovely cozy chair
(Unstilted by my concerns)
beside my favorite window
with a mug of precious thoughts
to relish every sip of delectation
as it's always after the pain
as soon as the sun lays off
It runs after the rain
I would tell it to peek out of the window
take in the view adorned with nature
gulp in some fresh air and let your perseverance sink in the green grass,
the white fence,
the birds, the clouds
the little hopes of light, the fireflies
the stridulating crickets assuring
the evening has sprawled
it's wings over the pink horizon
and the stars and moon
ready to approach soon
In the dawn it may, become obnoxious
to the protocol of the racing time
it may strum it's favorite melody to me
or indite a few candences filled with longings and promises to
abide in memories someday
being a liason seeking calm
embracing my words to contemplate
Only, if had it been a person!
