Artist spotlight: Emily Victoria
Tropical Fishin’
We know a good artist when we see one, and Emily Victoria is no exception.
Emily is a British woman living in Barcelona. She is a painter, drawn to the natural beauty, outdoor culture, and relaxed pace of life by the sea, which is the main inspiration behind her paintings. She has also spent time living in Sydney, and as well as the Mediterranean Sea, she has been greatly influenced by the great oceans of Australia.
She works in a range of mediums including watercolour, acrylic, and oil, and paints her sea and boat scenes from distinctive aerial perspectives. Paired with striking blue and turquoise hues she brings a contemporary edge to watercolour painting, capturing the meditative quality of the water and the sense of escapism that it offers.
You can purchase signed limited edition prints of her paintings, as well as original artwork or commissions via her website or DM her on instagram @emilyvictoriaart.
